Database Engineer questions are automatically scored. The data retrieved by a candidate is compared to the correct answer. If they match, a full score is awarded to the candidates. However, if they do not match, then the candidate receives a zero score. You can configure if the order of rows in which data is retrieved must be taken into consideration while evaluating and scoring Database Engineer questions.
Tip: You can manually change the score of any question from the Detailed section of a candidate's report.
The automatic scoring might assign zero scores to the candidate because the data retrieved with the candidate's query might not exactly match the expected output. However, if you review their query it might be almost correct and seem worthy of the partial score. Therefore, it is a good idea to also manually evaluate the queries.
