Transferring Ownership of all Resources

In the HackerRank for Work, the Company Admin user role can transfer ownership of all resources (tests, questions, etc.) between users before deleting a user from the platform. This ensures that no critical content is lost during user transitions.

Steps to Transfer Ownership

Prerequisites

• Company Admin access on the HackerRank for Work platform
  
  

Steps:

• Navigate to the top right-hand corner of your home page, click on the down arrow under the profile image
• Click on Team Management
• Navigate to the Users tab, where a list of all users within the team will be displayed.
• Find the user whose ownership you want to transfer. Click the three dots under Actions.

• Select Transfer Ownership from the dropdown.
• In the dialog box, choose the user to whom the resources should be transferred.

• Click Confirm to finalize the transfer.
• Once the transfer is complete, the previous user can be locked.

Note:

1. Company Admin can transfer resources to users with Recruiter or Developer licenses.
2. Company Admins cannot transfer test resources from a Developer or Recruiter to an Interviewer due to role limitations. This is because Interviewers do not have access to tests, while both Recruiters and Developers have access.
