CodeScreen is a flexible and innovative coding test framework that automates the screening of developers. With CodeScreen integration, interviewers can import a candidate’s screening test and code into a CodePair session seamlessly and in real-time, without having to manually import the code from the candidate's test report.
CodeScreen integration with CodePair allows for a technical evaluation that builds on itself, enabling interviewers to import the candidate’s screening test (questions and submitted code from CodeScreen) into a CodePair session and collaborate on the candidate's code.
If a candidate has taken CodeScreen earlier then at the start of the CodePair interview, the interviewer is prompted with a dialogue box, as shown below, to import the entire screening test into the interview. The overall score of the candidate is also shown in the dialogue box.
Note: This feature can be controlled from CodePair settings and will be available only when the Candidate's Timeline option is turned on.
Once the CodeScreen questions are imported to CodePair, we also provide the score of the candidate in each of the questions in the test, giving the interviewer an option to interview candidates on questions that they might not have performed well.
In addition to this, the interviewer can also import selected questions from the Candidate's CodeScreen attempt, even after starting the CodePair interview. This can be done by clicking on the Import Question option.
The questions from the Candidate's CodeScreen test can be found under the Candidate's Test option.
The interviewer can choose to import all questions from the candidate's test in separate tabs one by one or choose whichever question they want to evaluate in real-time with the candidate.
