Overview
HackerRank helps customers to standardize their hiring process by providing them with specifically curated skill-based content to test candidates. Additionally, interviewers and evaluators have an option to add their feedback on specific skills through scorecards.
How Can Skills Help Companies?
With skills, users on HackerRank can now use Roles to create Tests and Interviews. Each Role, in turn, has one or more skills mapped to it. Based on skills captured inside a role, the platform offers a seamless way to create tests using standard content and capture interviewers’ feedback on a structured scorecard.
See HackerRank's Skills Directory to know more about the list of available skills on our platform.

Purpose of Skill-Based Insights
When skill-based insights on a candidate's performance in a Test or Interview are available, they are aggregated in the form of a skill summary report inside a candidate packet.
The candidate packet is a one-stop center for a candidate’s skills summary inside HackerRank. It hosts a collection of reports and scorecards of all the assessments and interviews that a candidate has taken part in, for a particular role.
Here is what a candidate packet looks like. To know more about the Candidate Packet, click here.
