What are Skills on HackerRank?
HackerRank is helping customers to standardize their hiring process by providing them with specifically curated skill-based content to test candidates on. Additionally, interviewers and evaluators have an option to add their feedback on specific skills via scorecards.
How can skills help customers?
With skills, users on HackerRank can now use Roles to create Tests and CodePairs. Each Role, in turn, has one or more skills mapped to it. Based on skills captured inside a role, the platform offers a seamless way to create tests using standard content and capture interviewers’ feedback on a structured scorecard.

How can skill-based insights help customers?
When skill-based insights on a candidate's performance in Test or CodePair are available, they are aggregated in the form of a skill summary report inside a candidate packet.
The candidate packet is a one-stop center for a candidate’s skills summary inside HackerRank. It hosts a collection of reports and scorecards of all the assessments and interviews that a candidate has taken part in, for a particular role.
