Overview
HackerRank for Work enables five types of non-Admin user roles in teams: Recruiters, Developers, and Interviewers. Interviewers often cater to hiring tasks, their settings and permissions can be modified as described below.
Steps to Modify Permissions for Interviewers

- Must be Company-Admin
Steps
- On successfully logging into your HackerRank for Work account, click on the arrow next to the user icon on the top right corner of the homepage. This leads you to the Teams Management page.
- On the displayed page, click on the Admin tab.
- Clicking on the Admin tab takes you to a page with different types of admins and licenses.
- Click on the Edit Permissions button on the Interviewer pane to modify settings and permissions for interviewers.
- Interviewers can be assigned the following permissions:
- Permissions for Questions
- Can create questions
- Be able to access Shared questions within teams
- Shared Questions are questions created by others on the same team or teams.
- If access to Shared questions is unchecked, interviewers will only have visibility to questions they create during an interview and while viewing the company library.
- Note: It is recommended to leave this enabled for collaboration.
- View or Edit shared questions
- Changing access to View will make shared questions uneditable.
- Permissions for Interviews
- Can create Interviews
- Be able to access Shared interviews within teams
- Shared Interviews are interviews created by others on the same team or teams.
- If access to Shared interviews is unchecked, interviewers will only have visibility to interviews they create.
- View of Edit shared interviews
- Changing access to View will make shared interviews uneditable.
- Permissions for Questions
- The settings visible on the Interviewer default permissions page can be checked or unchecked to be modified accordingly.
- Click on the Save button to finalize all changes.
