Update or Reset Password

You can change your password at any time to keep your account secure. Use a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters for added security.

Updating password

To update a password:

  1. Log in to HackerRank for Work using your credentials.

  2. Select your profile icon in the upper-right corner.

  3. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.

  4. In the Change Password section, enter your current password, new password, and retype your new password to confirm.

  5. Click Save.

Note: If you forget your current password, use the Forgot Password option on the login page to reset it.

Resetting password

To reset a forgotten password:

  1. Go to the HackerRank for Work login page.

  2. Click Forgot Password? under the password field.

  3. Enter the work email address associated with your account.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Check your email for a password reset link from HackerRank.

  6. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.
