Overview
You can easily configure default test settings for your entire organization on one Centralized Test Settings page. This lets you standardize test experiences company-wide by establishing common rules upfront. Setting these defaults once saves you time compared to configuring each test individually. It also ensures consistency across all tests.
Read Test Settings and Configuration to learn more.
Accessing Centralized Test Settings
Prerequisites:
You must have a Company Admin license to access Centralized Test Settings.
- In the left menu, click Test Settings. Here, you can manage defaults.
Steps to access centralized test settings:
- Go to your profile icon and click Settings.
- In the left menu, click Test Settings. Here, you can manage defaults.
Applying Centralized Settings
As a company admin, you can control test settings in two ways:
Change Default Settings
- Toggle switches turn settings on/off as defaults for new tests.
-
These defaults can still be overridden at the test level by users.
Lock Default Settings
- Click the lock icon to enforce values, preventing overrides by other users.
-
Locked settings apply to all tests and cannot be changed by anyone.
Note: Unlocked defaults will not affect existing tests retroactively. Updates to centralized defaults only impact newly created tests going forward. When you lock a default setting it applies to every test in your organization.
Configuring Test Settings
Test Emails
You control your organization's email communication with candidates during the screening. Set default emails that must go out with each test and default templates for those emails.
Test Homepage Settings
Customize the test homepage with consistent instructions, disclaimers, and mandatory candidate information fields. Selected fields will appear in the candidate confirmation form they fill out before attempting a test.
You can also add custom fields as needed.
Test Integrity
Control your organization's proctoring settings here. For example, making Image Proctoring a default test setting applies to all your organization's tests.
